At Camden, we have invested heavily in transport, so that we can provide our customers with the most efficient and reliable service possible. In 2017, research and development began into a new delivery system to reduce transport damage and increase our flexibility for customer deliveries with health and safety at the upmost importance.

On the 1^st of December 2018 we introduced a fully unitised delivery system using innovative transport cages and MOFFETT truck mounted forklifts.  The cages are made of steel and have bars coated in plastic which act to separate, cushion and protect our products during transit. The MOFFETT trucks safely and securely load and offload the cages to and from Camden lorries.

We rolled out training to our operatives and drivers, upskilling them to effectively use the specialist equipment, further enhancing the service levels offered to our customers. Three years on we are happy to report a dramatic reduction in damages and a successful unitised delivery system.

Owning and operating our own fleet of lorries, coupled with our finely tuned processing and production management systems, gives us optimum control of delivery schedules and the ability to offer competitive turnaround times. Thanks to our extensive network of trade centres and regional offices throughout the UK and Ireland, we can provide vital, on-the-ground support to our customers. The delivery and customer service we provide has made us a market leader for 39 years.
