Camden Group put forward a team to compete in AWARE NI's Dragon Boat Race on Saturday 18th September on the River Lagan, Belfast. Competition was stiff, with only a matter of seconds between teams. Team Camden gave it their all but unfortunately, we did not make it to the finals.
We did however raise an amazing £1,852 for AWARE NI. Massive thank you to all who donated!
AWARE is the depression charity for Northern Ireland and the only charity working exclusively for those with depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder. AWARE’s vision is a future where everyone can talk about their mental health openly, access services appropriate to their needs and develop the skills and knowledge to maintain positive mental health. The focus of AWARE’s work is to educate and provide support to people living with or affected by depression.
By working together, we can help to support employee wellbeing and provide opportunities to give back through fundraising, volunteering and increasing understanding of depression. We believe, by having these conversations, it normalises mental health and helps to break the stigma that surrounds it.
