Job Overview:

We are seeking a reliable and motivated General Operative to join our team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in the production process, ensuring that high-quality product is manufactured and assembled in a timely and efficient manner

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate machinery and tools to cut, shape, and assemble products.
• Ensure the assembly of the product meets the company’s quality standards and customer specifications.
• Assist with the loading and unloading of materials and products.
• Maintain a clean and organised work area, adhering to safety regulations and company policies.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and adhere to production schedules.
• Collaborate with other team members to improve efficiency and productivity in the production process.
• Complete and thorough adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP).
• Reporting faults in machinery or products to production supervisor.
• Competently performing all tasks for which training has been completed and signed off
• Maintaining a clean and tidy work area
• Ensure strict adherence to all health and safety procedures, including following PPE guidelines at all times to maintain a safe working environment.

Essential Criteria:

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment is preferred but not required.
• Ability to work with hand tools and machinery, with a focus on precision and attention to detail.
• Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a factory setting.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
• Physically capable of handling materials and performing manual tasks.
• Basic problem-solving skills and the ability to work under minimal supervision.
